About the position

The Analyst, Product Solutions role at Visa focuses on data-driven analysis to support the Visa Direct product, which facilitates fund transfers globally. The position involves gathering customer feedback, identifying product requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch. The analyst will evaluate product performance, conduct market research, and present findings to stakeholders, contributing to the strategic initiatives of the North America Visa Direct Product and Policy Governance and Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data from various sources to extract actionable insights and interpret trends.
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess product performance against goals and recommend strategies for optimization.
• Perform market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements and business impacts.
• Present data analysis and product performance evaluations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with periodic updates to product documentation and maintenance of the product roadmap.
• Establish and publish key product metrics and performance indicators.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
• Proficiency in using analytical tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Knowledge of market research methodologies, including data collection and competitor analysis.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze data from databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ability to identify problems and propose practical solutions to improve product performance.
• Capacity to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
