The Analyst/Programmer 4 position at the Environmental Health Lab (EHL) in Anchorage, Alaska, is a critical role that provides onsite IT support across various systems and applications. The successful candidate will also manage databases and servers, as well as enterprise software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The role requires performing SQL queries, utilizing Crystal Reports, managing websites, and supporting application upgrades and testing. Additionally, the Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for maintaining inventories of equipment, hardware, and software, ensuring proper tagging and disposal records are kept. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Department of Environmental Conservation's mission to protect Alaska's natural resources and environment. The Analyst/Programmer will contribute to the management team that supports ISO 17025 accreditation, ensuring that the lab produces high-quality, legally defensible data.
