As an Analyst/Programmer 4 with the State of Alaska at Anchorage International Airport (ANC), you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the airport's IT infrastructure. This position is designed for tech-savvy problem solvers who thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to make a significant impact. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting all airport business application servers and program applications, ensuring that complex systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will be involved in application programming and infrastructure support, focusing on network application system security and disaster recovery planning and implementation. In this role, you will collaborate with ANC-IT staff on inter-sectional projects, design, configure, and maintain servers across the multi-sited airport network, and lead the team in managing ANC's Active Directory, CITRIX, VMWare, and Virtual Servers procedures. Additionally, you will provide basic server support for Microsoft SQL servers and manage various projects within the IT department. This position requires both independent work and teamwork, often placing you in a leadership role where you will mentor fellow ANC-IT staff as needed or as requested by the IT Manager.
