About the position

The Analyst/Programmer 5 (.NET Full Stack Developer) position at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game involves developing and maintaining web applications, modernizing desktop applications, and migrating applications to Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities

• Develop new and maintain existing web applications as part of a small team of .NET developers.
• Assist with the modernization of existing desktop applications into a Microsoft web-based environment.
• Participate in the migration and maintenance of applications to Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with teammates using Azure DevOps to gather system requirements and architect solutions.
• Work closely with team members to develop new division technology standards and services.

Requirements

• Six years of computer programming experience, with at least two years at the project leader or systems design level.
• Experience in C# with the ASP.NET Framework.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Ability to communicate technical issues and ideas verbally and in writing to an audience of all technical levels.
