About the position

The Analyst - Programs position at Avangrid involves providing comprehensive support to Program Managers through fiduciary management, scheduling, documentation control, reporting, data analysis, and logistical support. The role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also maintaining effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program budget and accounting, including reconciliation, journal entries, and accruals, and work with USS Accounting to resolve accounting questions.
  • Develop master program/project schedule for assigned projects and maintain it to ensure timely completion of all tasks and key milestones.
  • Organize and maintain program/project records, establishing files and security access, and consolidating records at program/project closure.
  • Develop program/project documents including meeting agendas, management status reports, memos, charts, and presentations.
  • Plan and organize meetings, web calls, conference calls, video calls, portals, and events.
  • Coordinate procurement technical processes including contract development, bidder questions, and bid evaluation.
  • Conduct spreadsheet and database analyses.
  • Assist in analyzing functional specifications to ensure proposed technical solutions meet program requirements.
  • Generate reports and extract requirements, and validate results utilizing SAP Business Warehouse.
  • Coordinate data requests and support development of testimony and other documentation for project-related regulatory proceedings, litigation, and audits.
  • Possess efficient time management skills to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project for scheduling and Microsoft Visio for flowcharting and business diagramming.
  • Knowledge of SAP for project cost control and SAP Business Warehouse for extracts and reports.
  • Associate's degree in a related discipline preferred.
