About the position

The Senior Provider Compensation Analyst is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, reporting, and supporting individual and group provider incentive compensation settlements and calculations according to contractual terms. This role involves preparing and documenting data necessary for accurate incentive calculations and payments, ensuring compliance with contracts and overall compensation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor provider incentive compensation settlements and calculations.
  • Prepare and document data for accurate incentive compensation calculations.
  • Communicate status of tasks and results effectively.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic reports on a timely basis.
  • Participate in staff meetings and assist team members as needed.
  • Lead the provider incentive compensation budget process and variance analysis.
  • Analyze and review the Axiom Financial System for provider compensation.
  • Support annual financial and compliance audits related to physician incentive compensation.
  • Prepare monthly reports on physician productivity and handle compensation inquiries.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for provider compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting, or provider compensation.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, independent and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and compliance.
  • Understanding of payroll budget and data integrity.
