About the position

The Analyst, QC position at Talent Software Services involves performing essential quality control functions in a dynamic laboratory environment. This contract role, based in Novato, CA, offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position is expected to last for one year with a strong possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical, physical, and chemical analyses of test samples under cGMP to meet specified timelines.
• Evaluate data against defined criteria and specifications.
• Work independently on assays that you have mastered.
• Develop and maintain proficiency in a broad range of trained test methods.
• Train other analysts in areas of expertise.
• Maintain the laboratory in an inspection-ready state.
• Maintain laboratory supply inventories.
• Ensure completion of glassware cleaning and other routine laboratory functions to meet business needs.
• Develop familiarity with cGMP, 21CFR, USP, EP, and ICH regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments as appropriate.
• Hold self and others accountable to abide by department and company policies and practices.
• Assist in the revision of written procedures as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written instructions and perform tasks with direct or minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with computer use; proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Good written, verbal, and communication skills.
• Good documentation skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• At least one year in a cGMP/GLP laboratory; quality control experience is preferred.
