About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial Analyst Relations (AR) program lead to drive its AWS Cloud Operations, Management + Governance AR program. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive AR program aimed at educating industry analysts and effectively communicating key AWS differentiators in centralized operations management, application management, and governance in the cloud. The role will also involve driving third-party analyst insights back into the business to enhance AWS's strategic positioning in the market. The successful candidate will identify and collaborate with internal teams to select compelling customer stories that can be highlighted and shared with analysts in innovative and engaging ways. Building and maintaining productive relationships with top-tier analysts and influencers who specialize in various aspects of cloud management and governance, including Cloud Operations, centralized operations management, DevOps, ITSM, FinOps, governance, and controls, will be a key focus of this role. Ongoing AR program activities will include organizing analyst briefings, managing inquiries, hosting events and webinars, and reporting results to stakeholders. The candidate will also prioritize and manage incoming requests for information, research reviews, customer references, event speakers, and other research-related activities. Maintaining real-time and accurate records of analyst engagement will be essential to communicate business value and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the role requires driving alignment with sales, marketing, and product teams to maximize awareness of analyst insights, customer feedback, market trends, and the overall impact of the AR program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a Cloud Operations, Management + Governance AR program to educate and influence the analyst community
  • Identify and work with internal teams to select compelling customer stories to highlight and share with analysts in new, unique, and compelling ways
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with top-tier analysts and influencers specializing in various aspects of cloud management + governance
  • Deliver ongoing AR program activities such as analyst briefings, inquiries, events, webinars, and reporting results
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests for information, research reviews, customer references, event speakers, and research
  • Maintain real-time and accurate records of analyst engagement to communicate business value and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive alignment with sales, marketing, and product teams to maximize awareness of analyst insight, customer feedback, market trends, and AR program impact

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
