About the position

The Analyst, Research and Quality position is a vital role within the Research and Quality (R&Q) Business Unit, reporting directly to the Director of Quality and Performance Measurement. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in a healthcare or related environment, or one to three years of experience coupled with a related Master's degree. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with quality products, including clinical practice guidelines and expert consensus statements, and will possess project management skills along with experience in publication in peer-reviewed journals. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen attention to detail. The candidate must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team to meet competing deadlines, and should demonstrate strong written communication skills. Familiarity with various systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and social media, is essential, as is the ability to quickly learn new technologies. An understanding of physician performance and familiarity with the healthcare environment is preferred. The position may require some weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of quality products, including clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) and expert consensus statements (ECSs).
  • Work with volunteer physicians to support quality product member panels, including contacting potential panel members and maintaining records of all meetings.
  • Coordinate literature searches with an external search strategist and develop literature search summaries to support panel members.
  • Provide support for data collection tasks, including survey programming and data cleaning.
  • Offer editorial and journal submission support for quality product workgroups' manuscripts.
  • Assist in developing materials for marketing quality products.
  • Coordinate timelines and transitions for quality products, including clinical practice guidelines and quality measures.
  • Manage work associated with Foundation grants program and support project work related to research committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in healthcare or related environment; or one to three years of experience and a related Master's Degree.
  • Familiarity with quality products including clinical practice guidelines and expert consensus statements preferred.
  • Project management skills and experience with publication in peer-reviewed journals and managing references electronically a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to operate effectively both independently and within a team environment to manage competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with different systems including Microsoft Office suite and social media.

Nice-to-haves
