About the position

Customized Energy Solutions (CES) is seeking an Analyst to join its Retail Market Services team, focusing on delivering strategic wholesale energy market services to retail energy market participants. This full-time role, based in Philadelphia, offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and involves working with a team of experienced energy professionals to tackle dynamic industry challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute, maintain, and iterate on dynamic models for Load Forecasting, Pricing, Settlement, Risk Management, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Collect, organize, and analyze large data sets from various sources.
• Maintain and develop metric reporting on service delivery and performance.
• Support internal process automation efforts through documentation and representation of business requirements within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Support User Acceptance Testing within the SDLC.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process efficiencies in dependent business service offerings and workflows.
• Provide support and coordination across team functions for operational execution and delivery of ad hoc client consulting projects.
• Drive independent workstreams to contribute to team-wide strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or equivalent role.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, finance, or economics preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced analysis functions and manipulation of large data sets.
• Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to challenges.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
