About the position

The Analyst II position within Retail Operations at Constellation is responsible for monitoring and executing day-to-day workflow activities, managing complex exception handling, and ensuring operational excellence while meeting service level agreements. This role requires collaboration with various teams to support changing business needs and involves being a subject matter expert in assigned business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and execute day-to-day workflow activities in Retail Operations.
  • Manage complex exception handling activities while meeting service level agreements.
  • Ensure accurate billing and competitive pricing for customers.
  • Enroll customers with utilities to ensure power or gas availability.
  • Process contracts and confirmations to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Manage customer payments and ensure accurate posting of cash to accounts.
  • Address internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Communicate issues and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify and create business requirements based on changing business needs.
  • Develop test scripts for business processes and system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of work experience or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external parties.
  • Established analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service orientation with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing markets and processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Prior experience in the retail energy industry or regulated energy industry.
  • Experience using CRM and/or Order-to-Cash workflow systems in the retail energy industry.
  • Working knowledge of UDC/ISO/LDC market EDI transactions.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access and/or SQL database query development.
