About the position

The Analyst, Revenue Accounting position at Western Digital Technologies is designed for a motivated accounting professional with expertise in global revenue operations. This role involves supporting the global revenue operations team, collaborating with various business functions on projects, and contributing to transformational initiatives aimed at achieving best-in-class results. The individual will be responsible for managing customer program rebate reserves and ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly close deliverables, including the calculation and validation of program reserves.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly results of earned rebates for accuracy and completeness and effectively communicate the results to business partners.
• Conduct review meetings with BU Finance stakeholders regarding accrual results.
• Review processes on an ongoing basis and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and implement functionality improvements to system reports and processes.
• Prepare SOX controls and internal and external PBC requests.
• Assist with system implementation projects as needed.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and stakeholders.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
