About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst - Finance I plays a crucial role in providing financial and analytical support for Baptist Memorial Health. This position involves collecting and maintaining data, supporting business decisions with financial insights, and interpreting vendor contracts to enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical support related to revenue cycle vendor relationships to all levels of the organization.
• Assists Revenue Cycle departments in third-party vendor onboarding.
• Ensures that third-party vendor contracts are reviewed, and invoicing is done per contract.
• Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure that Revenue Cycle-related vendors are paid timely.
• Assists Controller of Revenue Operations in managing and maintaining divisional budgets.
• Active involvement in the month-end close process for the Revenue Cycle division.
• Completes assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Preferred: MBA
• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare finance, decision support or managed care.
• Minimum: Five or more years experience in a healthcare role.
• Minimum: Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization.
• Minimum: MS Word expertise, MS Excel, including using pivot table and slicers.
