About the position

As an Analyst in Revenue Growth Management at The J. M. Smucker Co., you will play a crucial role in supporting our National Account food and beverage accounts. This position is based in Orrville, OH, with a hybrid work arrangement that requires approximately 30% in-office presence, equating to about six days a month. Your primary responsibilities will include performing customer program analyses and other ad hoc analyses to provide actionable recommendations aimed at improving profitability. You will maintain and communicate Away from Home customer pricing documents and manage customer programs within the TELUS trade system. Additionally, you will assist in monthly trade accrual reconciliations, ensuring all tasks are completed within established deadlines. In this role, you will actively seek out improvement opportunities within current processes and assist with customer bids, pricing negotiations, legal agreements, and various other projects as needed. You will also be responsible for resolving pending deductions and claims related to National Account operators, both within and outside of the TELUS trade system. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively while working independently and cross-functionally with various teams. Responsibilities

  • Perform customer program and other ad hoc analysis for National Account food and beverage accounts, providing recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Maintain and communicate Away from Home customer pricing documents.
  • Maintain Away from Home customer programs within the TELUS trade system.
  • Assist in monthly trade accrual reconciliations and scrubbing within established deadlines.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to current processes within the role.
  • Assist with customer bids (RFPs), pricing negotiations, legal agreements, and other projects as needed.
  • Resolve pending deductions and claims related to National Account operators within and outside of the TELUS trade system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other analytical field.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Strong systems and spreadsheet skills, including Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in trade marketing, finance, or category management.
  • Experience with Telus Trade and Pricing Management (TPM) system.
