The Analyst-Revenue Integrity position at Baptist Memorial Health focuses on enhancing revenue recovery and claim acceleration within clinical areas. Responsibilities

  • Work with various departments to implement new workflows and procedures for accurate charge processes.
  • Manage assigned account and claim edit work queues, ensuring correct coding, billing, payment, and charge captures.
  • Act as a resource and liaison for clinical charging and financial areas regarding coding and charge capture compliance.
  • Review patient medical records to validate missing charges and resolve billing edits in conjunction with clinical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance service and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in the healthcare industry with knowledge of hospital and/or physician revenue cycle functions.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines; familiarity with nThrive Knowledge Source application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; knowledge of clinical settings and billing claim forms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or Nursing.
  • Minimum of 6 years in the healthcare industry with advanced knowledge of revenue cycle functions.
