About the position

As a Domestic Revenue Management Analyst at Delta Air Lines, you will be part of a world-class team responsible for maximizing revenue on flights by aligning passenger demand with pricing strategies. This role involves using analytical expertise to optimize fare products and ensure the right price availability for different customer segments. You will engage in demand management strategies, analyze booking trends, and collaborate with various teams to enhance market performance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize flight-level revenue by valuing passengers and forecasting demand.
• Monitor and update demand through analysis of booking trends and competitive landscape.
• Establish and maintain overbooking forecasts based on no-show behavior.
• Evaluate performance trends to identify revenue opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for assigned markets and assist in capacity decision-making.
• Communicate market performance results to Revenue Management leaders and partners.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Network Planning, and other teams on market strategies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in demand planning or data analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and a desire to learn.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with airline economic and industry concepts.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Preferred major in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or Statistics.
• Experience in predictive analytics or supply and demand concepts.
