About the position

The Analyst, Revenue Management Support role is part of Hilton's Global Revenue Management team, focusing on predicting consumer demand and optimizing hotel inventory and pricing strategies. The position aims to maximize Hilton's revenue growth through effective planning and collaboration with corporate partners. The analyst will work on various projects related to revenue management and distribution, ensuring standards for rate plans and supporting the maintenance of pricing strategies across different regions and brands.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and quality check new offers in CRS, GDS, and direct distribution channels.
• Manipulate SQL queries to quality check data entered and improve Quality Check processes.
• Support hotel inquiries via email and ticket submission processes and document the findings thoroughly.
• Proactively audit and analyze Special Rate Plans (SRPs), rates, and accounts across all distribution channels regularly for issues.
• Create and maintain internal and external training and technical documentation for all team-facing and hotel-facing processes.
• Implement efficiencies using automation or streamlining that save time and money or generate additional revenue.
• Collect and document business requirements and design test plans to ensure that projects and efficiencies are deployed accurately.
• Facilitate testing among users, compile all test results, and actively communicate to ensure all issues are resolved post-deployment.
• Build and maintain Personal Development Plans and actively participate in opportunities to learn offered by the team or department.

Requirements

• One (1) year of professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing multiple projects within set timeframes and resource constraints.

Nice-to-haves

• One (1) year of project management experience.
• Five (5) years of professional experience in the travel industry, distribution systems, and/or technical development roles.
• Proficiency with MS Access, SQL, VB.NET, and/or VBA.
• Experience working with OnQ R&I and/or GDS.
