About the position

The Analyst, Revenue Operations at PDS Health plays a crucial role in assisting with production and collections. This position involves coaching and training Operation Managers on Accounts Receivable (AR) metrics, ensuring proper billing to patients and insurance companies, and maximizing collectible revenue. The Analyst is proactive in addressing billing issues and optimizing receivables collection across various offices.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize office collections and implement guidelines to improve processes.
  • Analyze internal and external reports to trace outstanding claim payments and request additional information from practices.
  • Identify strategic financial solutions to drive higher payment percentages and faster billing cycles.
  • Analyze AR metrics to identify offices needing training or billing process improvements.
  • Perform daily auditing and billing activities for assigned practices to ensure accurate reimbursement from insurance carriers.
  • Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and adjust accounts according to claims processing criteria.
  • Negotiate with carriers to obtain claims approval and payment information.
  • Review AR reports to ensure proper billing to insurance companies.
  • Check portals weekly to obtain missing information for proper claims adjudication.
  • Partner with regional managers to provide feedback on maximizing collectable revenue.
  • Communicate trends and suggestions for process improvements to management.
  • Conduct monthly conference calls with regional managers and occasional visits to meet with regional leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or training individuals on a billing process or claims auditing experience.
  • Experience working with Quality Systems Inc. (QSI).
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Operation Management experience in a retail store or medical/dental practice.
  • Insurance Claims Auditing experience.
