About the position

The Analyst, Sales Compensation and Commission Administration role at Enverus is a key position within the Revenue Operations team, focusing on the administration and analysis of sales compensation processes. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sales compensation, contributing to the setup, execution, and auditing of compensation systems. The analyst will perform data analysis, support critical business functions, and communicate effectively across the organization to ensure timely and accurate compensation payouts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sales compensation.
  • Contribute to the process of sales compensation setup, system administration, calculations, exceptions, and payouts.
  • Execute day-to-day data and process tasks, including auditing and analysis of the sales compensation system and data.
  • Proactively inspect the business and identify value-adding analysis.
  • Perform value-adding analysis and data compilation to support critical business functions, sometimes taking the lead.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the business and a desire to continue learning.
  • Effectively communicate across the organization.
  • Identify and properly escalate concerns and issues in a timely manner.
  • Become proficient and knowledgeable in the data and operations related to sales compensation matters.
  • Contribute to projects and processes, working independently with some supervision.

Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, including functions like filtering, sorting, formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a sales compensation tool (Captivate IQ is a plus) and with a CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to understand business problems and present solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Captivate IQ sales compensation tool.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
