About the position

The Analyst/Senior Analyst position in Credit Ratings focuses on assigning new ratings for U.S. asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions and conducting relevant rating actions. The role emphasizes teamwork, analytical skills, and attention to detail, providing opportunities to develop structured finance experience in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of credit & legal aspects of structured finance transactions across various asset-backed asset classes.
• Perform transaction analysis including analysis of collateral, deal structure, and legal issues.
• Prepare the rating committee package and make regular presentations to rating committee voters.
• Draft press releases for all ratings actions.
• Focus on key credit issues during the new issue rating process.
• Review results of banker cash flow models and provide feedback on structural aspects of transactions.
