About the position

The position is part of the AAdvantage Travel Rewards team within the Revenue Management Division at American Airlines. The role focuses on designing and delivering Travel Rewards Programs, utilizing data analysis and market insights to optimize revenue performance. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders and drive strategic planning while fostering a customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Travel Rewards Programs for American including AAdvantage Business, Agency, and Corporate Programs
  • Use customer segmentation, data analysis, and market insights to forecast revenue and costs to optimize Travel Rewards Programs revenue performance
  • Liaise with joint business partners in Europe and Asia Pacific to align and enhance joint offerings
  • Work with key stakeholders across AA in Sales, Commercial Planning & Analysis, Finance, RM, Marketing and IT to design and implement Travel Rewards Programs
  • Drive strategic planning, valuations, platform strategy, & execution with third party technology companies powering program platforms
  • Foster a customer-centric culture of learning, experimentation, and data-led decisions focused on understanding predictors of user behavior that drive incremental value
  • Automate dashboards, deliver annual budget and manage monthly P&L and/or analysis with clear, concise performance reporting to inform senior management and stakeholders of results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years' experience in product management, strategy/development experience, or data analysis

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degree
  • Airline/travel experience
  • Knowledge of airline ticketing policies/procedures, tariffs/taxes
  • Familiarization with Customer Program data
  • 3 years related experience in product management and/or strategy/development experience, data analysis
