Analyst, Sr Financial

About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will conduct core financial analytical duties, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysis in support of ongoing business activities within the Company’s Multi-Channel Department, which includes the support of our teams located in Mexico and Chile.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of weekly and monthly revenue forecasts, P&L analysis, and investigation of significant variances from Plan, for presentation to senior management.
• Prepare the financial analysis for new product introductions, new business opportunities, and ad hoc financial modeling to drive insight into strategic initiatives.
• Develop new financial tools and enhance existing reports to strengthen our financial understanding of the business and drive superior decision-making by senior management.
• Participate in the development of the Annual Operating Plan by supporting business unit leaders in the preparation and review of their revenue, capital, and operating expense budgets.
• Lead and support month-end financial close activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 4+ years in relevant accounting, finance, or FP&A corporate professional experience.
• Strong grasp of GAAP fundamentals, including the basics of financial reporting.
• Proven ability to architect, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively.
• Comfortable managing large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail, and highly organized.
• Ability to effectively operate and influence in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multinational environment.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively present financial information to senior managers.

Nice-to-haves

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
