About the position

The Senior Analyst of Fleet Performance at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for measuring and analyzing key performance indicators related to hotel operations, including financial performance and customer satisfaction metrics. This role involves collaborating with operational leaders to implement management tools and analysis that enhance performance across various departments. The position requires a strong analytical background and the ability to communicate findings effectively to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of data sources involved in reporting onboard and hotel performance.
  • Develop performance reporting and analytics on financial performance including onboard revenue and costs.
  • Manage the Silversea Guest Satisfaction electronic comment cards program.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on guest feedback to achieve Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
  • Run ad-hoc analysis on various operational areas including Food and Beverage and Guest Services.
  • Set and forecast Guest Satisfaction targets based on operational changes.
  • Ensure accuracy of all reporting and validate findings regularly.
  • Report findings to stakeholders and partner on action items.
  • Collaborate with Hotel Directors to understand Fleet performance and develop action plans.
  • Develop and report monthly, quarterly, and annual Shipboard Operation KPIs.
  • Manage the Silversea Fleet Operation Bonus plan with the Compensation team.
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Leadership.

Requirements

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial/business analysis and statistical analysis.
  • Previous cruise experience preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Strong understanding of operations and continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the cruise industry.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion software.
