As the Business Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will work on the strategic finance team to drive decision-making for executive leaders and department heads. This role will center on developing and maintaining sophisticated financial dashboards and processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and effective communication to optimize financial outcomes. This position will also perform in-depth analyses to help fuel decisions on pricing, sales process, and metrics definitions. This highly visible role is a key player for the finance team to help establish and build on strong business partnerships with sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams. This role will be an in-office role based in our Concord, MA office. We do have flexible work from home options.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards for financial and customer data by reconciling data across systems, building new processes, working cross functionally with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain forecasts and reports on organizational financial models and trends.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports by gathering and analyzing data from various departments across Tripleseat.
• Impact strategic decision-making by tracking key metrics and delivering consistent and accurate reporting.
• Build ownership of reporting workstreams out of business systems including Workday (Adaptive tool), Tableau, NetSuite, Snowflake, and HubSpot.
• Build processes to ensure accurate flow of financial and customer data across various systems.
• Consolidate customer data through comprehensive reporting from multiple departments.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to provide insights into customer behavior and financial performance.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial reports and dashboards.
• Act as a bridge between the finance department and other operating departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, Sales Operations, Accounting teams to ensure alignment of financial systems and processes.
• Build ad-hoc reporting to drive growth decisions with sales, marketing, product, corporate development, and various other departments across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 2-4 Years of progressive experience in accounting/finance/ops role required.
• 2+ Years of experience with Microsoft Excel required.
• SQL experience is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS, Financial services, Fintech preferred.
• Salesforce and/or Tableau experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with other business systems is a plus, such as or similar to Adaptive, NetSuite, Snowflake, and HubSpot.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth mindset with a willingness to innovate and learn in a constantly changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL is a plus.
