We are seeking a talented Analyst responsible for assisting the Strategic Sourcing Team in database management, data analysis and visualization, reporting and communication, and related sourcing activities for assigned categories within Brookfield Properties focusing on both direct and indirect categories. Assigned categories are related to the multifamily, single-family homes, office, retail, logistics, and hospitality industries and include but are not limited to Roofing, Plumbing, Flooring, Appliances, Paint, HVAC, Vertical Transportation, IT, Janitorial, and Security. Reporting and communication responsibilities include regular updates to all sourcing teams and executive leadership, in addition to maintaining sourcing-related intranet content.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct spend, market and supplier analysis
  • Build out documents, presentations and materials to support the sourcing initiatives
  • Identify and report appropriate trend analyses and highlight areas of opportunity
  • Understand the needs and requirements of internal stakeholders and work to ensure that these needs are met within the parameters of the Strategic Sourcing process and in line with corporate objectives
  • Collect data from business at regular cadence
  • Work with spend tool partner to upload and clean data
  • Regularly review and make sure spend is categorized correctly
  • Maintain licenses and access; provide in-house trainings
  • Prepare for and assist in supplier negotiations
  • Support sourcing team in ongoing supplier management
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in supply chain management, business, or related study
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively with a variety of tasks and colleagues (both internal and external colleagues)
