About the position

The Analyst, Support Operations I position is a contract role based in Chandler, AZ, focused on supporting and managing the creation of sales orders based on customer purchase orders. The primary function of this role is to ensure that sales orders are entered and booked accurately, matching them to the corresponding quotes when applicable. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to provide timely feedback to the quote specialist team regarding any discrepancies. The Analyst will also be responsible for managing any changes or updates to sales orders and clearing any order blocks related to credit, pricing, or denied parties to meet standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition to order management, the Analyst will communicate with the Sales Operations team regarding issues such as quote/order mismatches, customer terms, and escalations related to order blocks. The role encompasses booking various types of orders, including standard off-the-shelf orders, modified orders, consignment orders, warranty repairs, and manual kit billing. The Analyst will also support the Customer Master CMIR and determine the first commit promise date for orders. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating with other departments as needed. The work is semi-routine in nature, and the Analyst must be able to establish priorities and manage their time effectively to complete tasks. The impact of decisions made in this role can significantly affect the department, and errors may lead to loss of time, resources, and customer satisfaction. Overall, this position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the sales order process within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and book clean sales orders based on customer purchase orders received.
  • Ensure sales orders match exactly to a quote if applicable.
  • Provide timely feedback to the quote specialist team if applicable.
  • Manage any/all sales order changes/updates as applicable.
  • Clear any/all order blocks (Credit/Price/Denied Party, etc.) to meet standard Service Level Agreements.
  • Communicate with Sales Ops team members regarding quote/order mismatch issues, customer terms issues, and order blocks that need escalation.
  • Own the booking of all order types including standard off the shelf, integration order types, consignment, warranty repair, manual kit billing, COI/SBE/CBB, etc.
  • Request support from teams to clear order blocks for credit, pricing issues, denied parties, etc.
  • Support Customer Master CMIR and determine first commit promise date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for at least 2 years is required.
  • Experience with invoicing for at least 3 years is required.
  • Ability to commute to Chandler, AZ 85226 is required.
