About the position

The Analyst - Systems/Architecture - II position at The Judge Group Inc. is a critical role focused on the design and implementation of big data analysis applications that support device technology. This position is based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and involves building a robust big data analytics API framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating data from various sources, including Kafka, Pulsar, HDFS, S3, and Teradata, to create a seamless data flow that enhances analytical capabilities. Additionally, the role requires the development of web service APIs on MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) to support advanced data analytics algorithms. In this role, the analyst will perform data mining activities to study device performance, quantify device quality, and evaluate device readiness. This involves a deep understanding of data analysis techniques and the ability to apply them effectively to real-world scenarios. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data analytics applications meet the needs of the organization and contribute to the overall success of device technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data analysis, wireless technology, and computer science, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience in designing and implementing data analytics applications in production environments. Responsibilities

• Design and implement big data analysis applications to support device technology.
• Build big data analytics API framework.
• Integrate data from various sources such as Kafka, Pulsar, HDFS, S3, and Teradata.
• Develop web service APIs on MEC to support data analytics algorithms.
• Perform data mining to study device performance, quantify device quality, and evaluate device readiness.

Requirements

• Master or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing data analytics applications in production using NodeJS, Java, Python, R, etc. on big data platforms.
• 6+ years hands-on experience with agile development on open source software platforms like Spark, Hadoop, Druid, Docker, etc.
• 6+ years hands-on experience with various databases such as Hive, MySQL, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Druid, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala, etc.
• Experience in data extraction, transformation, loading, data mining, and statistical modeling.
• Strong analytical capabilities, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
• Good knowledge of the mobile telecommunications industry (4G, 5G, MEC) including experience with handset manufacturers, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors.
