About the position

Perdue Farms is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Analyst, Talent Acquisition (TA) Compliance to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, the Analyst, TA Compliance, will be responsible for the detailed adjudication of background screens for all company hires. This role is crucial in ensuring that all background screenings meet company policies and compliance standards, thereby providing essential support to the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams. The Analyst will work closely with our third-party vendor to manage the background check process efficiently, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously. In this position, the Analyst will conduct thorough reviews and adjudications of background check results for all candidates. This includes documenting and reporting background check results and decisions accurately and in a timely manner. The Analyst will also communicate with candidates regarding background check requirements and results as needed, ensuring that all parties are informed throughout the process. Staying informed about federal, state, and local laws related to background screenings is essential, as is providing support and guidance to stakeholders on background check processes. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion, which is paramount in the Talent Acquisition field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately is critical, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional movement to other offices or buildings, and may involve moving light equipment or supplies as necessary. The work environment is primarily an office setting, characterized by open-partitioned cubicles.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience in conducting and adjudicating background screens, preferably within a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources function.
  • Knowledge of background screen compliance standards and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
