About the position

The Analyst, Technical Solutions role is a key position within the Client Services & Support team, focusing on managing relationships with strategic technical partners. This individual will ensure optimal functioning of integrations between payment solutions and client support models, providing consultation on project and technical requirements. The role emphasizes building long-term relationships with partners through best-in-class support and expertise in payment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary technical point of contact for strategic value Visa/Cybersource technical partners, addressing any technical, process, and service challenges or questions that may arise.
  • Ensure that new and supplemental Cybersource partner solution integration projects are properly understood and implemented by partner resources.
  • Be the key stakeholder in providing implementation project considerations, solution architecture, business flow, and technical troubleshooting as well as general product consultation for multi-tenant merchant integrations.
  • Manage escalations against Cybersource platform and product issues with the partner until resolved.
  • Work collaboratively with the designated project teams to ensure that excellent client service delivery is offered consistently through consultation, trainings, and continual communications.
  • Advocate product enhancement requests within Cybersource/Visa cross-functional teams.
  • Guide and consult for a coordinated and consistent approach to merchant onboarding/integration, implementation, migration, and supporting processes for Cybersource's products and services.
  • Lead in proposing functional and process improvements to internal and external parties, coordinating multiple departments and functions in their effort to deliver Cybersource products.
  • Maintain Subject Matter Expertise level knowledge of CyberSource integrations, products, and services through supplemental training and self-managed education.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, networking principles, databases, programming languages REST, Java, C/C++, etc., and markup languages HTML, XML.
  • Demonstrated program-level, complex, ambiguous, and/or multifaceted solution requirements and architectures.
  • Must demonstrate strong complex problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to articulate complex topics to variable audiences is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Be a self-starter with strong organization skills and resolution management.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Payment industry experience is strongly preferred, including card-not-present, card present, PCI, and payment risk mitigation methodology experiences.
  • Implementation-based project management/product management experience with cross-functional and technology-centric teams.
  • Strong experience with ERP, OEM, CRM, FI, ISV systems and associated technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop relationships across different levels of the organization.
