About the position

The Analyst, Supplier Management at HHM Hotels is responsible for supporting vendor operations across the company's hotel portfolio in North America. This role involves overseeing supplier set-up and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and maintaining supplier relationships. The Analyst will also assist in vendor document retention and enforce supplier maintenance protocols to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the supplier management System File and Supplier Maintenance policy along with necessary forms and approval workflows.
• Process credit applications for new vendors.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of vendor documentation.
• Oversee the repository of W-9 and W-8 forms.
• Perform audits to ensure accuracy of EINs to IRS database.
• Work with Legal to link contracts to active and verified vendors.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to incorporate approved vendors into the authorized purchasing database.
• Ensure proper coding of vendors with Accounting & Tax teams for accurate processing.
• Assist Accounts Payable team with the annual 1099 process.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual audits to ensure Vendor File accuracy and compliance with laws.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Associates' degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Previous Accounts Payable experience or equivalent training required.
• Proficient in using Excel.
