About the position

Medline Industries is seeking a data-savvy Analyst with expertise in web analytics to join the Marketing Analytics Team. This role focuses on supporting marketing and commerce analysis and optimization efforts, translating business requirements into effective analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, enabling them to engage with various levels of the organization effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Tag Management Systems (Google Tag Manager and/or Adobe Launch) with data elements, rules, and third-party tags.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve and measure project success.
  • Ensure analytic tagging is developed to support initiatives.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of commerce and marketing efforts from various data sources and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze and communicate the effectiveness of Medline sites, email, PR campaigns, site changes, and marketing initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Produce and distribute recurring reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Create and manage analytic dashboards to measure success for business and marketing KPIs.
  • Lead analytic efforts focused on attribution modeling, A/B and multivariate testing, heat maps, lead tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math, Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, Media Sciences, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with Google Tag Manager and/or Adobe Launch, including coding knowledge and end-to-end implementation with data layer experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, including website data collection, QA, and tagging.
  • 2+ years in digital or social media strategy, analytics, and conversion optimization.
  • 2+ years of experience generating reports or dashboards using visualization tools such as Google Data Studio/Looker, Adobe Workspace, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for performing data analysis and performance tuning.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Optimize or Adobe Target
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
  • Experience with Google Adwords
  • Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau
