The Analyst - Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain Strategy position at AT&T is designed for individuals who are responsible for analyzing and supporting the evaluation of complex internal business problems and developing effective solutions. In this role, you will construct and apply statistical and financial models to identify opportunities for cost savings. You will also design and create reports, summaries, and database requirements that enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making processes. Analyzing production, implementation, and manufacturing expenses will be crucial to determining the most cost-effective solutions. Additionally, you will identify root cause cost drivers and develop sourcing recommendations to achieve savings. The position requires research into industry benchmarks and key data resources to support your analysis. You will apply lean and six sigma methodologies within should-cost models and utilize design-to-value methodologies to understand the true clean sheet costs of services. Ensuring the accuracy of analysis by verifying internal or supplier information and data models is also a key responsibility. Advanced statistical calculations, including expected value calculations, regression analysis, and variance calculations, will be part of your daily tasks. You will support program management efforts across multiple projects and functions, providing assistance to team members and cross-functional organizations. This role demands seasoned analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in handling complex, cross-functional assignments.
