About the position
The Inventory, Planning and Replenishment Analyst (IPR) plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain at Home Depot, focusing on developing and implementing inventory strategies that enhance sales and inventory productivity for specific merchandising categories. This position involves close collaboration with merchants, vendors, and various teams to ensure optimal in-stock positions and effective inventory management across stores and SKUs. The Analyst is responsible for creating accurate SKU forecasts, managing replenishment strategies, and achieving target inventory levels while also providing recommendations for improving inventory productivity.
Responsibilities
- Review daily orders, upload OUTLs, and manage CAR parameters to ensure in-stock levels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Merchants and Merchandising Planners.
- Respond to and partner on field concerns with oversight from management.
- Manage transitions and resets with oversight.
- Identify process challenges and review them with leadership.
- Communicate effectively with vendors.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to translate analysis to audience and communicate recommendations.
Nice-to-haves
- BA/BS degree preferred.
