About the position

The Analytical Services Director at Q2 Impact will lead research and analysis initiatives for the USAID Bureau for Policy, Learning, and Research. This role focuses on managing complex research activities, identifying evidence gaps, and generating insights through various research methodologies. The position requires a strong management background and expertise in large-scale research programs, particularly in the context of USAID contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and management of multiple complex research activities.
  • Work with the Contract Office Representative to identify and fill evidence gaps.
  • Oversee the implementation of randomized control trials, probability studies, and surveys.
  • Manage central reporting and financial issues related to contracts.
  • Coordinate meetings with the USAID contract officer and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise partner management and operational activities.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field with at least 10 years of experience in research management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various research methodologies.
  • Experience managing large-scale, worldwide research and analytical programs.
  • Strong management background with experience in financial and operational oversight.
  • Knowledge of Democracy, Governance, and Rights development programming.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing large learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with methodological innovations for learning needs in USAID contexts.
