About the position

The Analytics Developer II position within the Digital & Marketing Analytics team at Baylor Scott & White Health focuses on providing advanced analytics products and reporting services to enhance the digital marketing initiatives. The role involves collaborating with various teams to identify key performance metrics, develop PowerBI dashboards, and deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document data requirements from customers, translating them into technical specifications and workflows.
• Produce and develop reports, dashboards, and interactive reporting from various data sources by querying data.
• Validate output and metrics to ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity.
• Document project assignments, including technical documentation such as source to target mappings and output requirements.
• Interpret data deliverables in business language for executive and clinical staff, summarizing information effectively.
• Develop statistical, economic, and financial research from data to evaluate performance and drive business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Clinical or similar field, or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in personal computers and related software applications.
• Excellent analytic skills, data manipulation, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Development skills in enterprise statistical and BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, QlikView, Excel PowerPivot, or SSRS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or STATA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
