About the position

As an Analytics Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in modeling internal data into reusable entities that enhance decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand operational functions and create a digital twin of Anduril's operations, focusing on building efficient and understandable data models that drive business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building of Anduril's ontology for specific domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, People, and Sustainment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and write code for secure, timely, accurate, trusted, and extensible data models.
• Identify problems that can be solved with data and proactively work with the organization to implement solutions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for Anduril leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in an analytics-focused role such as analytics engineer, data engineer, or analyst/consultant with a strong engineering background.
• Motivated by Anduril's mission to solve significant problems in defense.
• Familiarity with authors like Kimball or Inmon.
• Self-starter with a focus on business impact, preferring to build quickly usable data models over perfect but unused ones.
• Experience in cross-functional projects with a mix of technical requirements and user-focused workflows.
• Expertise in SQL and experience with Python or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with data stack tools such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, and Palantir Foundry.
• Empathetic approach to understanding user perspectives.
• U.S. Persons status required for access to export-controlled data.

• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
