About the position

The Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and supporting enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions. This position requires a strong background in various reporting tools and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with business users to provide technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions.
• Utilize reporting tools such as MicroStrategy and PowerBI for data visualization.
• Transform data using ETL tools like Talend and manage relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres.
• Implement cloud technologies, particularly AWS, for data pipeline solutions.
• Work independently to provide technical solutions to business users and data stewards.
• Gather requirements and participate in the full system lifecycle development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud data pipeline tools (AWS) and on-premise solutions (Talend).
• Practical experience with Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy, PowerBI).
• Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake) and advanced SQL.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies independently.
• Advanced skills in creating reports, dashboards, and OLAP cubes using MicroStrategy and PowerBI.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts and database maintenance.
• Experience with AWS services (Airflow, Glue) and other cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SAS, R, and Java.
• Knowledge of devops practices (Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, Vault).
• Experience with web services and APIs for complex data sets.
