About the position

The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data models to support business insights through Power BI dashboards. This role involves working with large datasets from Adobe Analytics and integrating them with other data sources to provide accurate and actionable data for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data models that transform raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets for Power BI dashboards.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Qlik and Power BI dashboards with accurate data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data transformation pipelines on GCP, handling complex business rules and high-volume data.
  • Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
  • Create DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to translate business requirements into actionable data models and pipelines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.
  • Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering with a proven track record of building data models and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Extensive experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Data Fusion.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Analytics data structures and APIs.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data transformations and building data models.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with digital analytics data and e-commerce analytics applications.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as Adobe Analytics Certification and/or Alteryx Workflow Certified.
  • Experience with specific tools: QlikSense, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, GCP, and Adobe Analytics.
