About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Analytics Engineer for a contract position that is fully remote. The role involves managing the data engineering lifecycle, including research, design, development, and maintenance of data and analytic pipelines, particularly in the healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for data engineering lifecycle including research, proof of concepts, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build automated, scalable, flexible, secure, and cross-domain data and analytic pipelines with supporting monitors, listeners, notifications, and process state reporting.
• Support monthly and quarterly production activities.
• Maintain high quality documentation of data definitions, transformations, and processes to ensure data governance and security.
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
• Work with other departments to develop pipelines to move data in and out of our domain.
• Assist with developing and automating data processors.

Requirements

• Azure/Databricks experience along with healthcare experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering using Spark with Python and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), including Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering including ETL and pipeline building.
• 1+ years of experience working with healthcare data.
• Experience using data orchestration tools such as ADF, Airflow, DBT, etc.
• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, etc.
