About the position

The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire data engineering lifecycle, which includes research, proof of concepts, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data and analytic pipelines. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and security of data while collaborating with various departments to facilitate data movement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build automated, scalable, flexible, secure, and cross-domain data and analytic pipelines with supporting monitors, listeners, notifications, and process state reporting.
• Support monthly and quarterly production activities.
• Maintain high-quality documentation of data definitions, transformations, and processes to ensure data governance and security.
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop pipelines for data movement in and out of our domain.
• Assist with the development and automation of data processors.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering using Spark with Python and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), including Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, including ETL and pipeline building.
• 1+ years of experience working with healthcare data.
• Experience using data orchestration tools such as ADF, Airflow, DBT, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, etc.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure/Databricks.
• Healthcare industry experience.
