Your primary responsibility will be to architect business-critical datasets that are utilized across the company, ensuring that all teams have access to the same sources of truth. This position is pivotal in fostering a data-driven culture within Parafin, where trustworthy and complete data is readily available to everyone. In this role, you will interface between data engineering and end users, working to improve our data tooling and development velocity. You will define and enforce best practices in data management, including data modeling, testing, version control, and cataloging. Your efforts will lead to the creation of efficient, modular, flexible, and reliable datasets that unlock insights for stakeholders across the business, whether for analytics, machine learning, or operational purposes. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying gaps in our current data collection methods and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure we are accurately measuring key metrics related to our customers and products.
