About the position

The Analytics Engineering Client Delivery Sr. Consultant / AVP at Aon is a pivotal role focused on delivering innovative health analytics solutions to clients. This position involves leading engineering development, automation, and commercialization initiatives to enhance analytics capabilities. The consultant will serve as a technical architect, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of market-leading solutions. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location, and emphasizes the importance of strong technical skills and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical code to manage data and automate client report deliveries.
• Identify and architect new technological platforms to improve stakeholder experience.
• Prioritize features and functionalities based on value and feasibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new analytics solutions.
• Scale client-ready report delivery by building self-service capabilities for analytics products.
• Stay current on emerging trends and propose new capabilities to meet client needs.
• Support leadership in defining and driving Aon strategy and revenue growth.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain analytics solutions.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback and solicit input for future technology enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in insurance, benefits consulting, finance, or analytics for Sr. Consultant; 7+ years for AVP.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
• Advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process automation, data analytics/engineering, and ETL data manipulation.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or R.
• Experience with data warehouses including SQL databases, Snowflake, and/or Databricks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with business intelligence tools like PowerBi or Tableau.
• Knowledge of LLM, Machine Learning, and Data Science/Engineering.
• Understanding of Agile project management.
