About the position

The Commercial Analytics - Analytics Engineering and Client Delivery Sr. Consultant / AVP role at Aon is designed for an innovative health analytics client delivery consultant who will lead engineering development, automation, and commercialization initiatives for analytics solutions. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading solutions to clients. The role is hybrid, allowing for both virtual and in-office work in select locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical code to manage data and automate client report deliveries.
• Identify and architect new technological platforms to improve stakeholder experience.
• Prioritize features and functionalities based on value and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new analytics solutions.
• Scale client-ready report delivery by building self-service capabilities for analytics products.
• Stay current on emerging trends and propose new capabilities to meet client needs.
• Support leadership in defining and driving Aon strategy and revenue growth.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in process automation, data analytics/engineering, and ETL data manipulation.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or R.
• Experience with data warehouses including SQL databases, Snowflake, and/or Databricks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of market trends and client needs.
• Proven ability to mentor junior colleagues.
• Product knowledge of Medical, Stop Loss, Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with LLM models and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
