About the position

The Analytics Project Coordinator at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) plays a crucial role in coordinating healthcare analytic projects within the Data Science & Advanced Analytics division. This position involves managing projects through various stages, including implementation, analysis, and reporting, while contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality across the nation. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate healthcare analytic projects through various stages including implementation, management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop work plans and timelines for projects, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Document and oversee project tasks, maintaining organized project files.
  • Support and attend client teleconferences and meetings, acting as a liaison between management and staff.
  • Conduct online research on healthcare topics as assigned and prepare support documents for project deliverables.
  • Assist in developing written and data-oriented reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communicate with project partners, subcontractors, and other entities on analytic-related projects.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Control (IQC) monitoring and present issues with recommended solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a business or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and knowledge of database management (Microsoft Access).
  • Ability to assist others with MS Office Suite systems usage and experience in conducting research via the Internet.
  • Experience in monitoring budgets and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Formal healthcare education or training in healthcare-related topics.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
