About the position

The Analytics Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Data Science & Advanced Analytics division at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG). This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about improving healthcare quality and are eager to engage with a wide array of clinical data. The Analytics Coordinator will be involved in various healthcare analytic projects, overseeing them from implementation through to analysis and reporting. This role requires a blend of project management skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet the high standards set by HSAG. In this role, the Analytics Coordinator will develop work plans and timelines, document and manage project tasks, and maintain organized project files. The coordinator will also support client teleconferences and meetings, conduct online research on healthcare topics, and provide regular progress reports to management. The position is integral to the success of the Data Science & Advanced Analytics team, which is committed to transforming healthcare delivery in the United States. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate healthcare analytic projects through various stages including implementation, management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop work plans and timelines for projects.
  • Document and oversee project tasks, ensuring all activities are tracked and managed effectively.
  • Organize and maintain project files on Share Point and HSAG's corporate networks.
  • Support and attend client teleconferences and meetings, acting as a liaison between management and project teams.
  • Perform online research on healthcare topics as needed for project support.
  • Provide regular progress reports to Data Science & Advanced Analytics management staff.
  • Assist in developing written and data-oriented reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communicate with project partners, subcontractors, and other entities regarding analytic-related projects.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Control (IQC) monitoring to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of project activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a healthcare-related field.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a business or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Working knowledge of database management, particularly Microsoft Access.
  • Experience in conducting research via the Internet and monitoring budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
