About the position

The Analytics Project Coordinator at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) plays a crucial role in coordinating healthcare analytic projects within the Data Science & Advanced Analytics division. This position involves managing various stages of projects, from implementation to reporting, while contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality through data analysis. The role is designed for individuals passionate about healthcare and data science, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate healthcare analytic projects through various stages including implementation, management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop work plans and timelines for projects.
  • Document and oversee project tasks, organizing and maintaining project files.
  • Support and attend client teleconferences and meetings.
  • Perform online research on healthcare topics as needed.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management staff.
  • Act as a liaison between management personnel and staff, transmitting decisions and information.
  • Maintain, tag, and sort documents for assigned projects on Share Point and HSAG's networks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project processes and develop quality improvement activities.
  • Assist in developing written and data-oriented reports in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Control (IQC) monitoring regarding project activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a business or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Working knowledge of database management (Microsoft Access).
  • Experience in conducting research via the Internet.
  • Experience monitoring budgets.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with various teams.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
