About the position

The Analytics Project Coordinator at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) plays a crucial role in the Data Science & Advanced Analytics division, contributing to innovative analytic work that encompasses a wide range of healthcare data projects. The coordinator will be responsible for managing healthcare analytic projects through various stages, including implementation, daily management, analysis, and reporting. This involves developing work plans and timelines, documenting and overseeing project tasks, organizing project files, and supporting client communications through teleconferences and meetings. The role also includes conducting online research on healthcare topics and providing regular progress reports to management. As part of HSAG's commitment to staff development, new coordinators will receive formal training in various healthcare-related topics, positioning them as future leaders in healthcare quality improvement. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate healthcare analytic projects through various stages including implementation, management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop work plans and timelines for projects.
  • Document and oversee project tasks, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Organize and maintain project files on Share Point and HSAG's networks.
  • Support and attend client teleconferences and meetings.
  • Conduct online research on healthcare topics as assigned.
  • Provide regular progress reports to Data Science & Advanced Analytics management staff.
  • Assist in developing written and data-oriented reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communicate with project partners, subcontractors, and other entities on analytic-related projects.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Control (IQC) monitoring and present issues with recommended solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a business or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) and knowledge of database management (Microsoft Access).
  • Experience in conducting research via the Internet and monitoring budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
