About the position

The Analytics Coordinator at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) plays a crucial role in coordinating healthcare analytic projects, contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality through data analysis. This position involves managing various stages of projects, from implementation to reporting, while supporting the Data Science & Advanced Analytics team in their mission to enhance healthcare delivery in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate healthcare analytic projects through various stages including implementation, management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop work plans and timelines for projects.
  • Document and oversee project tasks, organizing and maintaining project files.
  • Support and attend client teleconferences and meetings.
  • Perform online research on healthcare topics as assigned.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management staff.
  • Act as a liaison between management personnel and staff, transmitting decisions and information.
  • Maintain, tag, and sort documents for assigned projects on Share Point and HSAG's networks.
  • Assist with developing written and data-oriented reports in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Control (IQC) monitoring regarding efficiency and effectiveness of activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a business or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and working knowledge of database management (Microsoft Access).
  • Ability to assist others with MS Office Suite systems usage.
  • Experience in conducting research via the Internet.
  • Experience monitoring budgets.
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and work with multiple teams.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
