About the position

The Analytics & Reporting Technical Architect is responsible for designing, documenting, developing, and supporting complex data extract, transformation, and load (ETL) processes. This role involves managing data integration operations, collaborating with business users and data analysts to resolve information requirements, and advising on Enterprise Data Warehouse standards. The architect will also assist in developing technical strategies for data warehouse development and ensure compliance with best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex ETL processes for data integration.
  • Manage day-to-day data integration operations and processes.
  • Collaborate with business users and data analysts to define information requirements.
  • Advise on Enterprise Data Warehouse standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Conduct design sessions with technical and business owners to design ETL processes.
  • Perform database administration functions and improve database performance.
  • Analyze application, quality, and data integration problems and provide solutions.
  • Lead data quality architectural review sessions to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Provide production support and maintenance of applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Ability to translate high-level requirements into design.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing.
  • Ability to identify and redress data quality and inconsistency issues.
  • Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of new technologies in the field of data warehousing.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, mentor, and train others.
