About the position

As a vital member of our marketing team, the Analytics Senior Specialist will play a crucial role in analyzing and tracking data to enhance marketing effectiveness, improve customer experience, and drive profitable growth. This position involves building the team's analytics capabilities and providing actionable insights that optimize the end-to-end customer journey. These insights will be integral to developing business cases related to digital investments, process improvements, marketing strategies, and other key initiatives. The role requires acting as a change agent, leveraging data and insights to collaborate effectively with global colleagues. Based at our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC, this position offers a flexible blend of in-office and remote work. The Analytics Senior Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Customer Insights and Analytics and will be part of the Milliken Marketing Services team. This role necessitates significant collaboration across the organization, partnering with marketing, sales, customer service, and IT to support key enterprise initiatives. The successful candidate will manage data analytics for marketing and customer experience, extract and present large datasets, and communicate findings in committee and leadership meetings. The responsibilities also include utilizing digital marketing tools to monitor engagement, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of digital data, and collaborating with the digital marketing team to enhance user interface and experience. The specialist will define and report monthly KPIs, oversee dashboard maintenance, and facilitate strategic discussions in performance meetings. Additionally, the role involves translating complex questions into actionable analyses, identifying evolving business needs, and building trusted relationships across the company to demonstrate the value of analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data analytics for marketing and customer experience.
  • Extract, organize, and present large datasets to highlight key issues and opportunities.
  • Access data from integrated digital ecosystems including SAP, Salesforce, Sitecore, and HubSpot.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in committee and leadership meetings.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools to monitor engagement and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and reporting of digital data.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to enhance UI/UX and measure performance post-release.
  • Work with IT to improve customer data management.
  • Define, track, and report monthly KPIs to measure performance and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee dashboard maintenance and enhance visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP AC.
  • Use dashboards to facilitate strategic discussions in monthly performance meetings.
  • Translate complex questions into clear, actionable analyses and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements to deepen customer understanding.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field with analytics and quantitative emphasis.
  • 3+ years of related work experience analyzing data and delivering marketing and business insights.
  • High proficiency in Power BI, SAP AC, CRMA, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Skilled in Google Analytics (GA4 certification preferred) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, including segmentation, customer journeys, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling.
  • Experience with A/B testing, quantitative and qualitative tracking, and ad effectiveness research.
  • Advanced analytics skills for running optimizations and simulations.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Persuasive communicator, capable of presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence decisions and create alignment across teams.
